Refreshing Our Dining Room {and My Mood} With Fresh Fronds

Whatβs interesting about my blog post topics is that I think they come to fruition in a rather βbackwardβ sort of way. For whatever reason, I think most bloggers prepare their topic and content ahead of time and then put it all together in a cute little post for you to read. But sometimes (times like this) I scroll through my Google Photos app and realize I took some pretty pictures that Iβd love to share. There is no rhyme or reason behind them, other than they invoke joy when I look at them!
For now, I still have the same decor that was in our last homeβs foyer, but Iβd like to make a few changes in here. I envision a singular large lamp, a few cute decorative accents and a large vase to swap out fresh greenery on the console table. Below is what my dining room looks like with nothing but lamps and a small picture frame on the console table.
I finally had a night to myself and I spent it trimming some browned fronds in our yard and grabbing a couple extra to put in a vase. By the time I vacuumed and washed the floors, the sun was setting.
Did you notice my mismatched hardware? Itβs a new trend.
Just kidding. I just lost one of the original drawer pulls in our move somehow, even though I so carefully stowed them away in my console drawers! Ugh. Well, after I finally buy a new set of three, Iβm sure the missing drawer pull will magically reappear.
The lamps come in all sorts of cool patterns, shapes and colors. You can even select a custom color thatβs sure to match your space.
Those cute lumbar pillows are also from the same shop as the lamps and the pillow inserts are just the best thing ever! Theyβre hypoallergenic and you hardly need to reshape them! Theyβre like hugging a giant marshmallow. They even come in bed pillow sizes too! My guests love them.
